California Survey Research Services, Inc.
(CSRS) is fully committed to the principle
that the confidentiality of the individual
data obtained through CSRS surveys must
be protected. CSRS will not use information
to identify respondents without the permission
of the respondent, except to those who
check the data or are involved in processing
the data. CSRS will respect the respondent's
right to withdraw or to refuse to cooperate
at any stage of a study. CSRS will obtain
and document respondent consent when it
is known that the name and addresses or
identity of the respondent may be passed
to a third party for legal or other purposes,
such as audio or video recordings. CSRS
will obtain permission or consent of a
parent, legal guardian, or responsible
guardian before interviewing children 17
years old or younger. CSRS will give respondents
the opportunity to refuse to participate
in the research when there is a possibility
they may be identified even without the
use of their name or address.
Names, addresses, phone numbers, personal
information, and individual responses will
not be disclosed to anyone outside of the
research industry without your permission
or otherwise required by law, or in support
of any legal or criminal investigation.
Answers remain confidential and are only
reported in aggregate. CSRS will not reveal
your name, address, phone number, personal
information, or individual responses to
anyone outside of the research industry
without your permission or otherwise required
by law.
CSRS complies with COPPA (Children's
Online Privacy Protection Act), as
it applies to the online
collection of personal information from
children 12 years old or younger. CSRS
will obtain permission or consent of
a parent, legal guardian, or responsible
guardian before interviewing children
17 years old or younger.
